Wednesday was my first visit to the Paradise Saloon. This establishment has been around quite a while. When I lived in Lawrence 23 years ago, I had heard of it but never took the time to find it. I have been frequenting the Outhouse recently and decided to try something else. Arrived at the club about 6:30 pm. Admission is $3 for single visit or $10 for a year. Decided on the single visit price as I was just checking it out. Inside is a fairly small club with bar and a small elevated dance stage. There are a few tables and chairs next to the stage and some tables, chairs and cushioned bench seating against the main floor wall. There is also a elevated seating area with a half wall divider from the main floor. Didn't go up there, but was told it is not a VIP area, just additional seating, and lap dances for $10 were available in both areas. The crowd was pretty consistant while I was there. Never empty, never full. Didn't get much attention the first hour I was there and was tipping at the stage. Had decided to finish my beer and go to the Outhouse when Trixie promised to come visit after her set and finish her drink with another patron. True to her word she cuddled up to me a little later. We talked for several songs, I got a couple of $10 laps and then talked for a couple more songs. Really nice gal, a little heavy with very large breasts. Enjoyed her company and the dances. Next was joined by Ione (maybe Ayana from previous post) did'nt ask for the spelling. Got 2 dances. She was a little more abrupt and a bit mechanical, but is a very pretty girl with an amazing body. Was next visited by Julian, a little more mature blonde still with a great body. We talked off and on the rest of the time I was there. Got several dances from her. All in all a rocky start turned into a satisfying evening. Didn't spend anywhere near the money I spend at the Outhouse even with the price for drinks for myself and several dancers. I'm not sure this will replace the Outhouse as my first choice, but it is an other option depending on the mood.
