Follie's is worth the trip

TL;DR: You must check this club out. If you get a high-top along one of the walls, hang on to it like grim death.

I am glad I took an Uber, because the parking lot was totally packed with mandatory valet at 2PM on a Tuesday afternoon. The crowd would thin out a bit around 3, but then picked up again quickly. By late afternoon/early evening, seats were overflowing. No cover, but being frisked for weapons was a surprise. It is in all the reviews, but it still took me by surprise. This is one of those clubs where it is extremely dark inside, and it will take your eyes several minutes to adjust, so immediately try to locate the high tops along the left and right walls and try to score one. Far and away the best seats for table dances. The bar stools, being higher than chairs, are also good but there will be less privacy and less room for the girl to move. Tables will have to do if that is all you can get. Many people were stuck standing along the wall.

All the music was rap, hip-hop, and R&B. So urban that I did not recognize a single track. There is one stage that stretches all the way around the club in a U-shape with one break in the middle for bar traffic. At least two girls were dancing at any given time. To the right of the doors are the bathrooms. Even at that early hour there is a bathroom troll who does nothing but sit there. Really annoying. There are two private dance rooms. One to the back right of the club, and one on the forward left wall. To the left of the doors is some sort of VIP seating. Between the VIP seating and the left half of the stage are couches for lap dances, no privacy and totally open. These are only worth anything if you are otherwise left standing. The bar is in the center of the club. It is a standard square bar. Beers are $4. They had a buffet which looked pretty good, and many people were eating, but I passed. The bar and waitstaff are short-handed, but if you get their attention they will take care of you.

The clientele and dancers are mixed. I saw custies dressed in thug life track suits and others dressed in dress shirts and suit pants. All ages, colors and nationalities were there.
