I came in around 9 pm Tuesday expecting Amateur Night, a regular Tuesday feature. No sign of amateurs, and no mention by the DJ of any amateurs or WHY there were no amateurs. After sitting at the stage for an hour, giving up the $2 and $3 tips to the professional strippers, I was ready to walk out in disgust, and then write a review giving this place a "3". I have been visiting Big Earl's Gold Mine for as long as it has existed - through two remodelings, one rebuilding (after an arson-based fire), and the murder of its founder, affectionately known to us old PLs as Big Earl. In my mind, it has always been the sleaziest and best of the three Northern Des Moines Nude Emporiums -- the other two being Minx Show Palace and The Lumberyard.

Why give a "3" to a place that I obviously like? Two things: prudish onstage behavior, and intolerably low stage lighting. What good does it do to have a bare pussy just 6 inches away from your face if the friggin lights are so low you can't hardly make out what yer lookin at, and the girl won't take off her G-string? Instead, she will flash you by pulling it aside for a moment or two. That's unacceptable in a nude club.

As I was getting ready to leave, I saw SASHA was about to go on stage in an unusual fishnet costume, and I decided to stick around to see she could break my sour mood. Sure glad I did. SASHA definitely did not conform to the overall "show as little pussy as possible and keep it dark as possible" norm. I would recommend her to anybody except those who insist on skinny hardbodies. She was just a leetle bit chubby -- but not enough to turn me off, for sure. And she was soooo sweet. She caressed and toyed with all the stageside PLs like me. She took off all her clothes and cavorted about the stage. She put a big smile on her face and snuggled me at the edge of the stage.

As soon as SASHA finished her set, she made a beeline for my chair, jumped into my lap, gave me a hug & kiss, & said "do you want to go in the back and play with me?" We had a very nice session back there, very sensuous, lots of two-way contact, and I would gladly have another with the lovely SASHA. Due solely to her sparkling performance I am raising my score from "3" to "8"

Just remember that YMMV, and to BYOB. And as for ethnicity, on this night every girl was either white or tan. Girl-quality was high, ranging from 7 to 9. No dogs.
