possibly the best nude club in Austin

XTC Cabaret is located in far SE Austin. I had to be in the area anyway, so decided to stop by for a first time ever visit. There is parking to the left and right of the building ($5 valet fee), and the entrance and exit doors are side by side at the front. You walk in, and it’s $25 cover. There’s a restroom area to your immediate left (more on that later) and to your right is the entrance to the main room. There’s a main stage, a side stage on the left hand side of the room, and a rear stage at the back not far from the bar. When I was there, the rear half of the main room was closed off. I was told it only gets opened when the club is really busy.

Along the right hand wall is the entrance to the VIP area. It costs $20 for a wrist band to enter, and it’s a fairly large and well lit room, with comfortable chairs and tables. There’s also another separate, raised area that can be rented by one couple at $35 for 30 min or $50 for 60 min for yet more privacy. So far so good. Now for the bad points.

Use the toilet before you come here. I’m serious. There’s a grand total of one toilet, and it’s so small, you have to contort your body to step inside, close the door and sit down. The latch to the door is broken, and it opens to a hallway that is outside the area where the urinals are so really no privacy. I did see another toilet for disabled people though, so on my next visit I’ll check that out and maybe it’s less of a nightmare.
