Fun for a couple

My Wife and I visited Dejavu on a rare weekday date night. After hitting up many of the bars that surround the club (No Booze inside, Washington remember), we found ourselves ascending the stairway to pay 2 covers for entrance into the club. First note, making ladies pay full cover seems kind of odd. The bouncers are very helpful though, letting you know where the closest bar is, and that your stamp was good all night if you wanted to go have a few and come back. Into the club we go.

The club itself is dark, VERY dark, like it surprised both of us, the stage is well lit, albeit purple, but the rest of the place is damn near a cave. Your cover includes unlimited drinks, and we made use of that by abusing the Pepsi machine all night. Our waitress was cute, very flirtatious, and always there to break bills or provide a drink.

The dancers were interesting, we sat at the stage the whole time, not many other people tipping besides us. My wife got lots of welcomed attention from the dancers, and so did I, tipping 3-5 a song would get everything from a personalized shake, to boobs in your face, to ear nibbling and in my wife's case, most of the dancers felt her up. Oddly enough, we were not approached once by a dancer in between songs for a private dance, I either had to stop one of the girls, or ask the waitress to bring a dancer over. Very different from when you go alone and are constantly being propositioned. I assume the girls saw us having fun, and knew we would "order" when we were ready, also probably didn't want to pull tippers from the stage.
