Upset Customer

A date took me here for the first time a few days ago. It was seriously the worst experience of my life. To begin, it was $40 for us to both get in. We walked in to find an almost completely empty club. There were 3 girls on the floor and none on the stage. But ok, hey, it was a slow night. That's not what made the experience horrible. This is. I believe someone slipped something into my drink that night. The guy I was with said he lost his ID and as a result, the drink he brought over wasn't very strong. I drank it and showed my ID to get a second. I recall taking only a sip or two of that one before blacking out for the night. I literally have no memory from about 12a-11a. That isn't something that has EVER happened before, even after nights of very heavy drinking. I am confused, I am upset, and I am extremely unsettled. The guy I came with says we were there until they closed, I had a great time, and he was a complete gentleman. Huh!!?!

I called the club and explained the situation. The girl over the phone was caring and assured me I'd receive a call from the manager when he arrived. I never heard anything and called him back. The manager, Patrick, informed me that he had a meeting with the 'corporate office' the next day and would ask permission for me to review the footage and find out what happened that night. Again, I did not receive a call on the next day and had to call him back. After getting him on the phone, he casually told me that the footage erases after 48 hrs and there was nothing he could do. I asked him if there was a back up server at the 'corporate office'. He informed me there was not.

I am upset that a reputable establishment would only keep video surveillance footage for 2 damn days. This is a STRIP CLUB for gods sake. I'm amazed that they aren't legally required to keep footage for at LEAST 30 days! I will never ever go to Onyx again. Lol I may never visit a strip club again. There are 11 hours of my life that are pretty much unaccounted for. Without going into detail, I woke up in an unpleasant situation. I have no way of knowing what happened that night. I can't even confirm the time we left. So, yeah, don't go to Onyx. And if you do, watch your shit.
