I went last month on a Saturday, not too late in the evening. Not terribly busy, by the looks of things. A couple of cute girls around. Girl at the register was pushy for a tip, but she was cute so I gave her one. Chatted up a cute dark-haired dancer to get the scoop. Grinding permitted, but not all the time. She told me that there were different areas to get dances. VIP was available for $5 add'l cover, and had to get two dances. I let her know that she was on probabation and that whether or not I got more than that was up to her job performance. I let her know that grinding was #1 on my list of most important qualifications. She gave a pretty good grind (no hands by me). I told her that as long as each dance was better than the one before, I would keep getting them. But she either couldn't count very well or was using the new math and I got the idea she as being creative with her accounting of number of dances, etc., so I had to put a stop to the interview. Damn, though. I was on track to reach nirvana! Dances were apparently cheaper outside the VIP, and were also cheaper on other nights. I might give the joint another try, but with a firm discussion beforehand about song lengths, etc.
