Amateur Contest Drew a Crowd

I had never been to the Manhattan Club before, so when I saw that they were hosting an amateur contest I decided it was time to check it out. I enjoyed my visit to the club, more than expected, but the amateur contest itself was a disappointment.

I arrived at the club around 7:30. There were a few customers, but it was relatively slow. I learned that the amateur contest was going to start at midnight and wished I had waited much later to get there. Unfortunately my attempts at getting a response on either Facebook or Twitter about the start time had gone unanswered, otherwise I wouldn't have had to much time to kill. By midnight the place was packed, with both customers and dancers.

My evening started with a visit from Honey, who manages the girls. She sat with me for a while and told me how things work at the club, explained the types of dances, fee structure, rules, etc. She was pleasant to talk to, but not my type, so I let her go. After tipping at the stage for a bit I was joined at my table by an attractive black girl named Kiwi. She wasted no time in propositioning me for a private or VIP dance, which was fine by me since I was planning to take her back anyway. The dance ended up being disappointing (more details below) and she spent the rest of the night pestering me for another. She was so drunk that she'd never remember what I had told her before, so every hour or so we'd have the same conversation... basically anytime I wasn't with someone else.
