No Dolls Here

This bar is located about half a block from the El stop on Allegheny Ave. I got there about midnight on a recent Saturday, and a few sketchy characters were roaming the sidewalk, but at the same time I wasn't feeling a sense of danger. I found a parking spot close to the entrance. I was patted down after entering and paid a $5 cover. Its not a very big place - there's a square bar that takes up most of the room, with a small stage in the middle. The doorman and owner went out of their way to be friendly. Many of the customers were younger guys, probably taking a break from their commerce activities on the street. But no trouble. Dancers - unfortunately the quality was poor. There was one 1 somewhat attractive dancer with a nice body, but the rest were flabby and out of shape. Had a little bit of fun with the hot one at the bar and tried to dodge the rest of them. I didn't ask about couch dances or anything else - it was 1 drink and back to my car. Once in a while I'll check out a place like this hoping to find a hidden gem. I go with high hopes and low expectations and most times the low expectations are met.
