Old Standby

Having visited NYC recently for business, we decided to revisit an old standby flashdancers. Personally I have been to fd over a dozen times and while it is not the newest club on the scene, it is reliable in the quality and quantity and variety of girls. Strip clubs in NYC are a different animal altogether as most are tourist spots with low mileage. That being said, fd is a good place to bring business clients to or to watch a game. Located in midtown west, fd is right in the middle of Manhattan. It's actually walkable from most of the midtown hotels. ( ie 20 NYC blocks is about 1 mile) cover was $20 in the pm. The decor was pretty much as I remembered it years ago, rather bordello and gaudy like. Drinks as you expected were expensive, gin tonic was $20 with tip. Never use a credit card here, fd is notorious for overcharging credit cards. I made this mistake once. The quality and quantity of girls is vast as I saw a good mix of Eastern European, Asian and Latino/ black girls. I visited a Monday nite and the ratio of girls to clients was good about 1:1. There was definitely a hard sell as almost every dancer offered a vip within the first few minutes of contact. Vip here is $500 and up, no thanks. The $20 lap dances were okay for NYC standards, more on the low mileage side. Overall fd was as I remembered it, a reliable strip joint offering a variety of girls which caters to tourists and suits. Fyi Carnegie deli is 2 blocks from fd, great sandwiches and deserts. Go there before the end of the year, it is closing
