HiLiter New Rules Effect

First visit to HL since raid, so decided to go during the usual overcrowded, busy Thursday dayshift. Normaily (pre raid), hard to find parking or a seat unless you arrive before noon. NOT SO TODAY!!!! Arrived at 1230 am, parking lot about 1/2 full. Enter and see lots of dancers, counted 18, sitting/standing around walls and bar with approx. 12 to 15 customers. Sat next to stage in front of entrance to restroom which normally would be taken by this time of the day. Got my water and looked to see the talent that was in the house. Was approached by at least 10 dancers, but I was waiting on the veterans, so I could get the inside scope of what was happening since he changes. Saw a few lap dances being given, all of which were tamer than BSC on the floor. Did see one dancer get talked to about the stripper slide being used. Bouncer actually came over during dance and waved finger toward her. I did not see many multiple lap dances occurring, as it was usually one and done. During my 2 hour visit, saw only 3 dancers take customer to VIP with all returning in less than 2 songs. I talked with a long time fav about changes and she said that they were now starting to see the customer count decrease as customers see first hand the restrictions on the floor dances. She stated that many of the regular customers have already stopped coming in, even if they were not VIP customers. I asked about the lack of VIP trips I had noticed and she said that why would anyone pay $25 for basically the same as a $10 floor dance gets you. Was told that many of the long time favs are moving to other clubs or are just arranging to meet regulars OTC. She has been at club off/on for 10 years and said she was looking into other clubs to move to. I wondered if the strict rules enforcement would soften as time passes. She said most dancers feel they can't wait for that to maybe happen especially since the customer level has dropped during a time when business is supposed to increase. I tipped her $50 and headed out feeling that it will be a long time before this club will be worth even a $10 dance, as air is supposed to be free.
