Not Much Happening at Upstairs Jewel Box

I've had some good times at the upstairs Jewel Box in the past, so I decided to check it out on a recent Thursday night. Headed up the stairs in anticipation - one of the things I like about upstairs at the Jewel Box is that it is in pretty good shape, by the Block standards, and you are often greeted by a sexy dancer as you reach the top of the stairs. Unfortunately, this didn't happen this night as I turned the corner and saw just one dancer at the bar and nobody on stage. I have seen the dancer at Jewel Box before - a brunette MILF-type. Figured I'd sit down for one drink and hope that there were more girls in the back. That wasn't a good decision. No one else came out, and I wasn't ready to buy a drink for the MILF. So - I awkwardly finished my drink, still hoping for an improvement in the situation, until it was clear that this was it. Decided to head back out on Baltimore St and see what other options there were.
