Sunday Visit

I had an early meeting on Monday so I arrived in Lexington on Sunday night and to kill time I decided to check out some other clubs since Cowboys was closed. I arrived at around 8:00.

As soon as I entered I had very high hopes since the girl at the door was a very attractive AA. She said there was no cover charge at the time but that I would have to wait for security before I could enter. They took my drivers license and scanned it (I hate this) and then did a quick check with a security wand. I have mixed opinions on this. On one hand it makes me nervous that they need to do this and on the other I feel a little more secure that they do. When he finished he opened the door for me and then I found out probably why there was no cover. There was only one dancer. While she was fairly attractive she was sitting with a regular. I bought one beer ($3.50 I think) from the attractive bar tender and sipped on it while watching one of the large TVs on the wall. Finally the one dancer got up and danced two songs (topless only) and was promptly snatched up for a private. I decided to cut my losses and head for another club.

Overall the club was fairly nice looking; a little worn on the edges but not dive bar bad. Even though all of the women that I saw that night were attractive (dancer, bar tender, and front door) I probably won't try again since I hate that they scanned my license.
