latest Babe's review

I have been going to Babe's for years. I can remember two full remodels back. Over the years, the bar has had its ups and downs. Business at strip clubs is certainly not the same than it was 15 years ago. Most all bars are slower now. In the past few years Babes has fluctuated between "OK" and "how in the hell can this place remain open". I went yesterday and it seemed that the bar was getting some momentum back. There has been a minor remodel - paint, carpet, chairs. They created a private room by partitioning off some of the lap dance area. I don't think it gets used much at least on day shift. But there seemed to be better energy yesterday. It was 2 for Tuesday and $13 buckets of beer, but there were a decent number of customers. While I was there, I counted at least 8 dancers. Three were girls that had been there for some time (two of them over 10 years) and there were 4-5 new girls that I did not know. I'm not saying the new girls rival the hottest ones at Brad's, but each was interesting in their own way. I focused in on a curvy AA dancer that had come over from nights. To me she was the sexiest of the bunch and worth another visit.

My visits to Babes lately has been only about one visit every month or two, but I'm encouraged enough that I will be back sooner.
