I was passing through Jacksonville and stopped in at Scores on a Saturday afternoon. When I arrived at 1:00, there was plentiful free parking in a huge lot and no cover at the door. It was *really* dark inside, and it was hard at first not to stumble into furniture. I'm not sure what time they opened, but it seemed like things were just getting going and it was pretty quiet. Once my eyes got adjusted, I could see that it's a nicely-appointed club. While waiting for the stage show to start, food was ordered; a sandwich, fries, a well drink, and bottled water came to $11.50, so not too bad.

Scores is technically a bikini bar, but some of the girls got topless on stage. The stage lighting was good, but they have a fog machine which they occasionally use, and when they do, it completely obscures the dancer for about a minute. Pretty worthless in a strip club, if you ask me. There were about 8-10 dancers on duty, all attractive though mostly young, white and slender. I would describe the quality as being in the 7-8 range, and all the girls I talked to were very friendly.

The lap dance area is not private at all, but it's very nice. There is a sign posted that says dances are $30, and they're done topless (with occasional flashes of more). Every once in a while they announced a two-for-$50 special, and they seemed to honor that pretty much anytime after they announced it (not just immediately upon announcing it, like some clubs). The lap dances I had were very enjoyable, with decent two-way contact, and most of the songs seemed pretty long.
