Oh Boy

Well my scientific studies researching La Culona finally got me to PT's. Reviews of this place here have been bad/weird, but I had to see for myself. In doing my pre-game research I found a yelp review of the place which included this line

"If you are into big asses (mulatta, negra, Latina, Red, yellah bone) go to Pts. I've never been and not had a good time, but i prefer my strippers ratchet. You don't go there for the Russian Ballet."

That work of poetry, sold me and got my excited about going. Got there around 10:20, weren't many cars outside, but the bank next door was full of cars as if people were avoiding a parking fee. 24hr tow signs were all over the bank parking lot, so I decided not to run the risk and parked behind PTs. Guy at the door searched me but there was no parking fee. Cover charge at the door was 7.00, but I used the free admission coupon available from TUSCL (Thanks Founder), and I was glad I did because............... I walked around and said where are the dancers? The place is actually kind of cavernous and brightly lit for a strip club, which made the lack of customers & dancers stand out more. It actually looked pretty nice, but there was that sterotypical gummy carpet that was sticking to my shoes for who knows what reason. There was one dancer on a main stage, with a bit of tip seating surrounding the stage, but a large open area separating the main stage from most of the seating. There was a small "go-go" dancer cage like stage closer to most of the seating where a second dancer was working. This was probably the highest ratio of female customers to male customers I've seen. Usually if a club is dead, you'll see the dancers sitting around on their phones, but aside from the two on stage, I didn't see anyone. For what its worth the two dancers were pretty good, and for two sole dancers in an empty club were putting forth a good effort on stage. Eventually a third one came out. But it was readily apparent that either this is a club that gets going much later in the night or it just wasn't going to happen at all on this day. I think that similar to my Pink Pony review from a few weeks ago, there are three similar clubs in close proximity which seem to be offering the same type of thing, and on a weekday night there just isn't enough customer traffic to make it all work, so customers do, what I did, just take it on over to booby trap (which is likely soaking up the dancer & customer traffic for this area). So in summary if the cars are not outside, it is likely to be a terrible time. A very talkative dancer at BTs was telling me that PT's is a money throwing club (so that means it is likely more of a late night & weekend spot), but it had been slowing down recently, which brought her back to BTs, I don't see a reason to come back here.
