Night at the Mint
After reading Papi's articles about the magic of black strip clubs in Miami, I ventured out to Body Club and had the time of my life. I figured why not hit up another and found myself at the Mint Lounge on a Saturday night. I'll preface this with the disclaimer that goes along with all these reviews of these kinds of clubs, if you aren't into black women, you're gonna have a bad time.
The club has an interesting setup. There is no true stage like you'd expect at a regular club. There is a long rectangular bar that basically takes up the entire club, with bar stool seating next to the bar and against the wall, which leaves enough space for a narrow walkway. Behind the bar are 2 platformish type stages with poles. Not huge, but big enough for the girls to kind of sort of dance on.
I got there after midnight, and wasn't super impressed with anything I saw. Probably about 20ish on shift, a handful of good to great, and a whole lot of average and below. I don't know if I got there to early, but the girls were all super low energy. Granted no one was tipping or paying attention to the stage, so that may have fed into it. The hustle factor isnt super high. I was barely approached the entire time I was there. It was 1 girls birthday and she approached and asked me if I would give her a birthday tip (I declined). 2 or 3 more approached me. The offer was 5 for a standard floor dance. Or $25 to go into the lap dance room, and $10 per dance after (this rate varies by girl). As Papi has indicated before, the biggest issues with these clubs is that its often times too much like a party. No one was talking to me, but the guys who weren't spending a dime were surrounded by girls all the time. I did eventually buy a lapdance or 3 from a lighter skinned girl. High mileage, and by far 1 of the best value dances I have ever received.
