First visit to this club in nearly 10 years. I usually prefer to sit and watch the stage for awhile and between not having much of a stage show and the most expensive dances in the city ($40 each) I've just had no desire to stop by. I've read a few positive reviews recently so I figured what the hell. The club itself is physically the nicest in the city by far, being lit up mostly by fake candles and stage lights. Between the hours of 5pm-7pm they do happy hour so my cover was free, only had to buy the $5 drink. On this evening I saw 5 dancers 1 thin black dancer, one thin white dancer, one thick white dancer, one average build black dancer and the 5th I never got a good look at because she was busy on the other side of the club the whole time I was there. The thin black dancer was the first one to sit down and since there really isn't much of a stage I went ahead and got a dance. I personally found her dance to be pretty lame, minimal grinding, zero flashing and at $40 a pop I had to call it at one. Hell most dances I've bought at the VU were better then this one. Next up was the thin white dancer.....and her dances were even worse, she pretty much just sat in my lap and moved her hips back and forth with zero flashing.........I can see where this club could be amazing with the right dancer but with $40 dances you can waste a lot of money if you pick the wrong girl. Might try it again on a weekend night just to see the A list but I can't see this becoming a regular stop, going to stick with lake city vu and Pandora's where your more likely to find a dancer that's your type.
