A Visit to the old stomping grounds.

The Playhouse used to be my favorite club. But in recent years it began to suck (not in the good way) and then closed for a year or two. In the last year or so it reopened, but I have kept away because it just looked dead and I had sworn it off due to a really bad experience in my last pre-closure visit.

But you can't keep a dog away forever, so I decided to give the new Playhouse a try.

First thing noticed when entering is that they have remodeled. The super comfortable slouch-able couches around the outside of the room are gone and they now have standard uncomfortable booths. The bar and the stage are seem the same. In the day, I really loved the couches. I take a seat at the bar.
