It's been a while

Stopped by the Red Parrot for the first time in a few years. It's not that far out on the east edge of town but I am seldom on that side of town. But here I was fighting traffic including the big rigs to make a stop at this El Paso institution.

I either forgot how clean this club was or it was too long since my last visit and it had been remodeled, but I was happy to find a nice looking place after paying the $10 cover charge. The main stage is still a T shape with three poles. Music was tolerable and girls kept showing up from somewhere. Some were in VIP, some were in the dressing room, I guess. But best I recall there were ten to twelve girls dancing including a few nice looking girls. I was happy with the lineup but still not excited about the $20 entry fee to get into the VIP.

Few patrons when I arrived and not too many more entered before I left after a couple of hours. I didn't get any dances although the Latina I spent time talking to tried her best to convince me it would have been a worthwhile endeavor. If not for the price I am sure it would have been. She seemed to know what kind of fun I was looking for but I was just not ready to spend the amount of cash she was asking for.
