TD's North is looking up
After several months absence, I paid a visit to TD’s North. At my last visit I thought the dances were not up to their usual standards, although now that I am visiting less often, there are few dancers who are the same as the last time I visited. That makes getting great dances harder. So it may be me and not the club. Forced retirement is a bitch. But the VIP area has been brighter than I like it and the songs and been cut short, both contributed to a feeling that the club is not what it was. After this visit I think it is me and the club is OK, well, better than OK.
I arrived shortly after the lunch hour to a club which had more patrons than I expected at that hour, but fewer dancers. The dancers were dancing two songs on stage, and then there was a song without a dancer on stage, That is never a good sign. Worst yet, there were no familiar faces (or other body parts) among the dancers. Well, this was going to be one of those visits where I got familiar with some new dancers. Favorites have to start somewhere.
After a hamburger for lunch which gave me time to check out the dancers, Jennifer stopped by. A short Latina with long curly hair and a nice set of bolt ons; she sat on my lap and did her best to convince me to get some dances. It worked. Off we went to the VIP room for two high mileage dances. Well worth the investment and worth another try next time. As an aside, the DJ did not cut the songs as short as they have in the recent past, so I got my money’s worth and then some.
