good enough
I stopped overnight in Richmond (or some suburb) and this club happened to be within a few miles from the hotel. I was tired, hungry, short on time, and I got to this club around 1 AM.
Parking lot in back (plenty of spots), people around and I think at least staffer is out there watching things.
Cover is $10, and I see 10-12 dancer names on the board, but I only six on the floor at any given time, and I saw at least a couple dancers leave early. It was pretty dead at this time. I mean the staff outnumbered the dancers, which is not a good sign.
The main room is a decent size. Classic setup (long stage in the middle, chairs 360 degrees around the floor, bar at one end). I was told that it has more space than other Richmond clubs. I will say that almost all the dancers were somewhat slender, fit/athletic. There was one with a bigger body but not obese by any means. I was impressed by the stage show and the consistency. Almost all of them did some pole tricks, and this one dancer was pretty acrobatic, balancing against the pole in ways I have only seen in a circus. A pair of dancers collaborated on the same pole. It seems like they practice pole tricks with each other.
