more of the same

If you can say anything about this place, it would be that the experience only varies slightly from visit to visit. The wild cards tend to be: 1) whether there will be any dancers with faces or bodies above a 7, 2) whether you get a dance that is anything but average, and 3) whether there will be any actual customers in the place to make it feel like anything but a dead-ass dive. The answers on this Saturday night were 1) no, 2) not really, and 3) amazingly, yes. If I was astounded to find a crowd in the place at 10ish on a Saturday, I was even more amused by its make up. There were 3 or 4 members of a Masonic biker gang (yep, really), a black girl with a giant Afro and her companion who was dressed as Michael Jackson (complete with glove--I kid you not), a middle-age business type in a polo shirt and Hagar slacks, and a group of young Hispanic men who seemed be enjoying themselves in spite of the language barrier and low quality of the dancers. One of the bartenders was a 50ish blonde dressed very much like an early "Like a Virgin" era Madonna (and it seems too early for Halloween, but ya never know). As other reviewers have complained about similar small clubs, there seems to be a dearth of young, attractive women willing to perform in dives like this. The half dozen dancers on his night ranged in looks from really scruffy to just OK. There was one skinny girl who might hit a 7 in low light, but like the others she was middle aged and worn. I finally got a string of decent dances with Dee (Dena? Dia?) who was a big white girl with average tits, pleasant smile, and at least some personality. Like most, she offered "special" $20 dances rather than the standard $10 and threw in a 3 for 50 deal. I liked her and took the deal and was happy enough with the contact and effort over 3 songs that I bought a 4th at the full price. The openness of the dance area is well noted and thus the mileage is limited, but she worked at it and I appreciated the effort. I did not stick around to try for the skinny girl as the place was rapidly filling up with all kinds of folks. The best looking girl in the place was a hot Hispanic spinner who came in with a guy and played pool in the back. With better looking dancers and a decent VIP area (there is a low, underutilized balcony that would work) the owners could kick this up a notch. As it is, its the same hit or miss on any given day.
