first visit
I finally popped into this place after knowing about it for years. As it turns out, it is much closer to where I live than Petticoat Junction and at first glance, a nicer club. It shares a building with a hardware store so the parking lot is large and reasonably well maintained. When you walk in the door there is an empty reception area with a long counter that was manned by a skeletal Halloween decoration. Nice touch. There were 2 customers and one dancer sitting at the bar when I walked in. No one was on stage. The dancer immediately moved over to sit with me (I found out later that my arrival saved her from being hassled by one of her regulars) and we chatted about the nature of the strip club business and the history of this particular club. She clearly possessed some institutional memory and was a pretty interesting character (and she did not hit me up for a drink). She goes by Raven and looks to be in her mid 30s. Not a knockout but an decent looking woman with the usual selection of tats (some of them not very good). Her long history with the place suggests that getting in good with her is certainly an advantage for future visits. We did dances ($15 each in a side room with blacklights and chairs) to 2 very long songs (Pink Floyd "Comfortably Numb" and the Doors "Light My Fire"). The dances were good, but not exceptional, with the usual amount of contact. I did not press my luck by breaking any rules or trolling for extras, since I wanted to leave a good impression; I also tipped an extra $10 for the longer-than-usual songs. Although Raven said there was another dancer hiding in the back, I did not hang around to check her out. The place seems decent and might have some potential on a better day so I will check it out again.
