First time in Memphis, I had read so many reviews of Gold Club I figured it was the best place in town. The cover was $8, and they only serve beer in bottles (no liquor), $5.50 each.

There's a main stage with a pole, and a smaller stage. Later in the night, after about 9pm or so, dancers would take a turn on the main stage and then a second dance on the smaller stage. As noted elsewhere, dances wear pasties, or, in some cases, bikini, I guess it depends on the girl. Some of the girls seemed to have some kind of paint over their nipples. No pussy is seen, heard, smelled, or touched at this place.

Lap dances are $25 each; they occur off to one side of the big room, it is a semi-private area but no walls or separation from the main area. In the private area, the tops come off, bottoms stay on, and touching above the waist seems to be allowed, with maybe an occasional brush of nipple against your face.
