Le Pigale Oct 2015

This review is for a visit a year ago. Went with Yvonne so was hoping the place would be couple friendly. The cover was reasonable, the crowd at 10p on a Friday skewed young blue collar guys; Mrs was the only female patron.

The girls were all very attractive, with an equal proportion of girls-next-door and prototypical strippers. As we've seen in smaller clubs outside YUL and YVR, the girls were keeping their distance as if unsure whether we were there only to watch or for dances. After about half an hour, Von had identified one or two girls she wanted to dance for her but we couldn't get their attention. So we tried a trick that worked before: :she went to the washroom.

Within minutes, 3 girls came by and asked me about my night/can they join me. I passed on them until one of Von's picks walked by. I got her to sit and ordered a round of drinks by the time Von was back from the washroom. The smile on her face when she saw the young woman sitting at our table was awesome.

The women started talking and the dancer (Sorry, I forget the name she used) quickly realized that the primary customer was Vom.

After about 15 mins of flirting and chatting, Von asked me for CAD; I gave her 5 songs worth as off they went. Von came back with a huge smile and told me we could leave now. In a good way. Mission accomplished.
