Bourbon Street Circus Review

Second trip ever to Phoenix for clubbing, but first trip to Bourbon Street Circus. There was a small cover to get in (I think?), but I don't really recall. As I mentioned in another review, I've been used to ridiculous Las Vegas covers, so something like $5, $10, $12 doesn't even register. I've liked that about Phoenix.

The very first thing I noticed was that this club is absolutely as dark as everyone complains about! Definitely the darkest club I have been in.

I got in and found an empty table and sat myself. The waitress brought by some popcorn to go along with my water bottle I ordered, which was fun. Never had a waitress bring popcorn before. I sat at that table, watching the stage show for probably 20 minutes, wondering if a dancer would stop by to chat, or to jump right into, "wanna dance?"... but it never happened. A definite first for me. Ever. I truthfully wasn't sure if I should be refreshed, or offended? :)
