So I headed to Pure Diamonds for the first time over the weekend. It was recommended to me by a friend, but now I think he was setting me up for a fall. I went in and paid my cover. Got the pat down which I have only gotten in clubs where on the inside I really did not feel safe. This club was no exception. After entering the establishment, I was immediately accosted by a “dancer” that looked like she was just trying to earn enough money to satisfy her meth habit. Found a seat and noticed that I was being stared at by everyone in the room. I asked the best looking dancer I could find for a dance and we headed to the dance booths. For a lap dance club, the dance was pretty lackluster. I tried to pull her a little closer and she said that she was giving me as much contact as law allowed. Then it dawned on me that she thought I was a cop which also explained the staring in the main area. I told her that there was no law to worry about but she kept up the air dance situation. When the song was over, she stopped and got her stuff and left. To avoid any further confrontation, I left in a hurry. This club may be OK after repeated visits, but as it was, I am going to stay away.
