Saturday Night at Scarlett's

I was in Miami for the weekend and and stopped by Scarlett's on my drive from Miami up to Ft Lauderdale. It's right off Rt 95. It's a nice looking club - lots of room and some areas where you're more part of the action and others where you're more off to side and a little out of the flow (in a good way). If you want a high energy club, this is your place. And the staff are real nice and professinoal from as soon as you walk in the door. But I didn't like it much bcs I guess it wasn't what I was looking for. The thing I really didn't like was the lighting - there was this pulsating light that made it tough to focus on anything for more than five seconds (probably an exageration but that's how I remember it). Between that and the super loud music it seems like it would be tough to even hang there with your friends. But lots of guys were and looked like they were having a good time. It's more like a regular dance club with strippers. The girls were all pretty high quality and the few I talked to were nice and not pushy which made the place more comfortable. I got a few dances - nothing special but OK. But I didn't stay long and probably won't come back bc it was just too high energy for me - at the end of the day I'm looking for a more relaxed atmosphere. But I wouldn't discourage anyone looking for a real nightclub type place- if that's what you're looking for this is your place.
