I had not been to the Cabaret Lady Mary-Ann in three years. I made a long-awaited return on a Monday night at 23:30. There was an $8 cover charge. You must tip the bouncer who leads you to your seat. A toonie is sufficient. A bottle of water was $6.75. A bottle of beer was even more. There is one large main stage with two poles. One is stationary and one spins. There is also a couch on the back of the stage. There are five video gaming machines in the corner next to the stage. Lap dances take place on the second floor in booths with a door similar to what you’d find in a department store dressing room.

Lap dances are still $20, but it seems more two-way contact is allowed now compared to my past visits in 2011 and 2013. I remarked in the past that contact was closer to one-way. If the rules have loosened, this is a pleasant development. You can touch dancers anywhere except the pudding hatch. There is also a restriction on any kissing or sucking. You wash your hands with a sanitizing spray before entering one of the lap dance booths upstairs. I ended up getting five dances from Victoria. She is a beautiful Quebecois dancer with long straight black hair, intoxicating brown eyes, and a fake rack. Her dances were enthusiastic, and she encouraged me to touch her. I also did a one-and-done with Mirabel, a dancer who has a large ass and small breasts. Her dances were cold and sterile. Lap dances are fully nude, however, a dancer might not take off her g-string until after the first dance.

Overall, the dancers were above average in looks. All dancers appeared to be Quebecois, with the exception of one Latina. There were plenty of entertainers that I would have been willing to have gone upstairs with. Many dancers seemed to be bilingual, but not all of them. The stage show runs like this: a dancer will strip down to topless, then leave the stage. A second dancer will strip down to topless, then leave the stage. The first dancer will return and strip down to nude. Then the second dancer will return and strip down to nude. This cycle then repeats with two different dancers. Most of the talent put a lot of effort into their stage set. Nobody tips the stage.
