Meh
I'm a dancer, in Florida, and I flew up to Louisville to visit a friend for a few weeks. He'd been telling me how weird the strip clubs here are, so, I was curious. He had a couple of passes to get into PT's free, (from an Adam and Eve store) So I was like, WTH, why not?
It's a pasties club. The interior is severely dated. There are several stages, no poles, which isn't the strangest thing. I've worked in a few clubs that had no poles. The girls were mostly pretty and fit, no MAJOR slobs at this club, but lazy dancers. Don't come here looking for variety. This is Kentucky. It's exactly what you'd expect.
The worst is that there are velvet rope things around the stage to keep you from getting near the dancers. It was hilarious, like being at a museum! I got yelled at by a big fat guy for throwing wadded up bills at a dancer. I guess he was the owner, or manager? Anyway, dude is a heart attack waiting to happen. A lot of the dancers looked worn out, or sad. Seems like the ordinances really messed with the cash in this city.
Drinks are pricey, but that's more an observation than a complaint. I expect to pay when I go out.
The music was mostly classic rock, which I don't really mind. But the girls were young and I could tell many of them were just not feeling what they had to dance to.
