A Club Worth Checking Out

After reading some reviews on here and looking for a little variety, I thought that I'd check out this club. I've now been there a few times. It is a small club. You walk in and the bar is to your right (where the unoccupied dancers will be sitting), the dance floor is in the center -- much like Adelitas or Bar Tropical -- and around the dance foor are a series of tables. The clientele tends to be locals. As a result, drinks are cheaper than HK or Adelitas -- they do the Bar Tropical thing: two beers for $3 or $4 (depending on the night). Drinks for the chicas are also slightly cheaper than HK. The number of girls vary. On a weekday, I'd guess that it is somewhere between 5-10, but there is usually 1 or 2 that strikes my fancy. On a weekend night, I'd estimate that they have somewhere between 11-15 maybe more. And then there are at least 3-4 that I've found attractive. On average, the quality of the girls is definitely below HK, Adelitas, Las Chavellas. But the competition is also alot less. The chicas are less likely to speak English much if at all. The waiters all speak English. And with a little bit of Spanish, you can get by just fine. And, in my experience, a gringo will get a lot more attention and the waiter will tend to bring the better looking ladies (either that or they figure out my type quickly). There are VIP rooms in the back for $45 for an hour plus a tip for the girl (sometimes negotiated up front, and sometimes just afterwards). The VIP rooms are about the size of the VIP rooms in the club in HK and basically furnished the same, except that its not just a 5 minute dance.
