Deja Vu All Over Again
The first thing you notice is the music is too low. Like most other strip club, the girls dance on stage with arm chairs near the stage and tables and chairs further our from the stage. Except here the men don't tip by and large but rather sit around in the chairs further away from the stage. This, along with the low music, sometimes being played by what sounds like a pre-recorded disc jokey, gives it a low energy, creepy sort of affair. The wiser of you will step outside at this point and check out the bar just outside where you can put down some liquid courage and come back in. The good news is you can come in and out as you please so long as you're next door at the bar. Also, the night I went here there were tacos being served outside. I actually caved in and tried some along with some of the strippers, err, dancers, which mostly took away from the experience. The girls here are mostly Latina and though not on par with the dancers you'll find at a Spearmint Rhino are laid back and not pushy (definitely a plus). Earlier on in the night, they're even willing to talk for a good while. Definitely recommend coming with a friend and chatting them up like I did. There are two rooms where lap dances happen plus a VIP room. My buddy got a lap dance in the nude room for $40 while I went with the $20 variety. It was your typical lap dance, front grinding, butt grinding. Interestingly, instead of giving the girl your twenty bucks you put the bill in a cash machine where the red light turns green and a timer comes on. This beats waiting for a song to finish and we all know songs can be longer or shorter. She asked me if I wanted to hit the VIP for $100 (I guess they offer a half hour for the price during happy hour). I was tempted -- she said there was more on the menu in the VIP -- but I'm married so no thanks. The one thing I really didn't enjoy was the bathrooms. They were pretty gross -- there was a condom floating around in one of the toilet! -- with a strong urine smell, no napkins, and strangely a bunch of ice in the pisser, not sure why they think that is a fragrance. Another good thing is the waitresses (more attractive than the dancers actually) are not pushy about the drinks. I've been to a club where all you hear is buy a drink, buy a drink, buy a drink. It doesn't make you want to come back is all I'm saying. In a nutshell, don't come here for a bachelor party or if you want to drink at the club. Don't come here from far away unless you have no options. Sadly, this might be the best option in Industry from what I hear. Do come here for a reasonably good time at a decent cost in a low stress environment where it's up to you and your wallet how much fun you'll have. As for me, I'll hold off unless a friend wants to drive and pay. Good luck!
