Brass Rail on a Friday Night
I should say the Brass Rail remains one of those places you love or hate(Just like Toronto itself) and judging by its reputation, I would wager a bet to say most people love this club. Last Friday, I came here for my buddy's bachelor party. We got in at around 9pm and it was starting to fill up already. We sat towards the end of the club closer to the back of the room. We each ordered a Budweiser at about $10.25 each.
As soon as you got your drinks, prepare to be hounded by dancers. We decided to hold off on dances until we could watch the show for a bit. Compared to other places like Cafe Atlantis or Zanzibar, I actually find the girls here to be less pushy and understanding of this request. Many of the girls here are talented dancers and athletic. Of course, there are also the girls that shoe model. Over the years, I have found the stage shows to decline in talent overall as it is not lucrative for the girls to dance up there anyway.
We spoke to a few girls and head up to the mezzanine where we ordered a bottle and got my buddy a few dances. There is a cover to go to the mezzanine and upper brass. It's the same price in the mezzanine VIP at $20/song and same rules apply: keep your hands out of the cookie jar(as someone said before)
