Remodeled Godfather's worth a visit

I had to be in Wheeling on a Tuesday night for work (sidebar - some great craft brewing going on in Wheeling at the moment, and good local places to eat. It's a nice town), and after I was finished with work, I headed over to Wheeling Island for the casino. Godfather's is right next to the casino parking lot, and usually I would choose a strip club over a casino except a) I didn't have that much money with me and b) I had been to Godfather's in years passed and was unimpressed on all levels.

Long story short, my third pull on the first slot machine I sat at paid me around $300. Figuring I would lose it all if I stayed at the slots, I left the casino to check out Godfather's, figuring I could drive back to Dallas Pike and Jill's if the place was a bust.

First of all, the club is way cleaner than it used to be. You still park out front in a gravel lot, but the club itself has been remodeled, and while not fancy, it comfortable and clean. Second of all, there was a nice variety of dancers on shift, ranging from sixes to nines, and all very friendly. There were a few African-American dancers, too, which is a plus for me. Also, a live DJ who happened to be a woman (!) who was playing terrific music (!!!). Finally, a few of the dancers really know how to dance, and one in particular was so amazing in her pole tricks and suspension tricks, she could have tried out for Cirque de Soleil.
