Less Than Before
Curves has a nice, wide layout. Low ceilings, three stages and waitresses who dance. I've had some good times here, but Thursday afternoon was not one of those times. I arrived in the afternoon, and the change from the bright outside to the dark inside was a little distracting, but once adjusted, my eyes could see the layout was pretty much the same.
I ordered a Coke from the waitress, and was brought two, as it is a two-for-one special during the day. $5.75 for the privilege, and when I gave her the two fives, she gave me back four singles. I asked about the $0.25. "Oh, you wanted that?" That annoyed me. Not because of the amount, but for fuck's sake, why say "$5.75" when you could just say "$6.00?" She didn't get a tip.
Then I watched the dancers. Some very pretty girls, mostly Hispanic with a few white ones thrown in. Ink seemed to be a requirement, and I was drinking my overpriced sugar water when I was approached by a pretty dancer with a bad book job. Seriously, they look like bags of sand. Named after an actress who starred in a movie about breakfast at some woman's place. She talked the talk for a few then asked if I was interested in going back to VIP with her, and explained the rules: $20.00 per dance and tips were appreciated.
