Nice, but be careful

Flew back into LAX and after doing some research, this was a club I wanted to visit as I hadn't been here before. Most of the time I go by myself but my crewmate wanted to join, so the two of us headed down to Synn on a Sunday evening around 10 PM. Before we left, we checked out the website, and texted the number for free (or discount) passes. After a few tries, it didn't seem to be working, but we didn't let that stop the fun.

We arrived around 11:30 PM, and a guy outside wanded us down and let us in. At the desk, I mentioned we weren't able to get the text to work, and the guy said that they had discontinued that "last week". So there's some information that may be new. After we paid our $20 cover, we went inside. The club is nicely laid out with plenty of room to sit, and a big stage in the front. Dances are either done in cubicles on the side (semi-private), or private rooms in the back. We hadn't sat down for 2 minutes or a dancer sat by us, and the drink hustle started. Huge turn-off for me. Declined the dancer and the drink, and word must have spread fast because it took a long time for another dancer to sit by us.

At one point, a girl that said she was of Spanish descent was talking to my buddy, and she seemed pretty nice. He wasn't interested in any private dances (let me know that in advance), but I was. As I was getting tired of sitting down, I went to stand in the back, and she came up to me and asked for a dance. Though I usually am pretty good about making sure I know what I'm getting into, I wasn't this time. I should have paid more attention to the reviews because this girl has been called out before on this site. So sucks for me I didn't pay attention, and also bad luck that out of all the dancers there I chose this particular girl.
