Tourist trap
I really wish there were better options in downtown Toronto. It is getting pretty consistently mediocre in here right now. On top of it all, there just isn't anywhere to stand comfortably. As overcrowded as it is, the bouncers in here are constantly telling people to move, and the place just doesn't have a relaxing feel at all.
The dancer quality here is also middling. Very few above a 7. Private dances are just air dances with most, though somewhat better with a few others. Music selection still sucks and will surely never change. They think playing current urban hits will attract riff raff...I'm not sure that theory makes sense. After all, they charge $10.25 a beer here - I think the place would survive extending the playlist beyond Rammstein and generic rock.
I see fewer and fewer young dancers here every time I go. It's become an army of mostly hardened 30 and even 40-something vets, most of whom give uninspired dances. This place is probably fun for a bunch of guys from out of town coming in for a bachelor party...but you'd be hard-pressed to have a really good time here outside of that.
