First time in Ottawa and decided to go to Barefax. Doesn’t have good reviews but I was staying down the street so it was only a 5 minute walk from my hotel. There’s also the Nuden and LePigale across in Gatineau but didn’t feel like driving. Anyways, the club is in the Byward market which is super cool and chill with many tourists. The club itself is by the big OTTAWA letters. Parking is plentiful and I believe there’s also a parking garage across. The club itself is actually upstairs so you go in, turn left and there will be a couple flights of stairs you have to go up then you’ll be at the actual entrance of the club. No lie a couple of the security dudes actually looked intimidating lol but were friendly. They Pat you down and charge you cover. Make sure you bring CAD and not USD otherwise you will overspend by a lot. Go to a currency exchange place at Rideau center which is close by or an atm. Anyways, cover was cheap from what I remember maybe 10 CAD or so. If you have a jacket, there’s a mandatory coat check that you will have to pay for and they’ll give you a ticket that you must keep and show them when you leave to get your coat back. This was kinda annoying because it’s obviously a way for them to make extra cash and I like having my jacket on but whatever. I went on a Friday, then Saturday, skipped Sunday, and last day I went was Monday. Pretty much every day was pretty normal, not too many people but not completely dead either. I usually got there around 9pm and left around midnight. As the night goes on, it gets more busy. Now let’s talk about the layout… There’s only 1 stage right on the middle with plenty of seating on either side and also an elevated section towards the back near a TV. You can look them up on Instagram and also see a reel of them showing the place. The bar is all the way to the far end. The bartender on Saturday had some huge jugs and definitely felt like she should’ve been a dancer there lol. Drinks were cheap, got a few whiskey’s. You can exchange USD to CAD but it’ll be 1:1 and it will not be worth it. Alright, now the important part: the girls. Honestly there were plenty of really hot women there on all 3 days. This club isn’t really stage performance focused so don’t expect a whole lot to go on on stage. There would a dancer dancing on stage for a couple of songs then a huge 20+ min gap until another girl got on stage. And tipping wasn’t really encouraged either, I didn’t see many people tipping at all. This is more of a private dance type of club vs stage performance. Anyways, first night I went I got my whiskey then sat on the elevated section of the seating and just sat taking it all in. There are probably 10-20 women on every night I went. If they aren’t dancing, they are all going to be walking around the club talking to people to get them to buy dances. You will be approached by plenty of woman while you’re sitting. It was honestly a nice mix of different ethnicities. You had Asian, white, black, middle eastern, southern European, Latina, etc. I just sat and chilled and women kept coming up to me to introduce themselves and just made small talk with them. If I wasn’t interested, I would just politely decline and they’d go on to someone else. The individual private dance areas were like little narrow hallways side by side with a small booth at the end and a chair. There’s also a restroom and atm up there. The BEST thing about the club is the prices of dances holy shit. 1 dance is 20 CAD which translates to about $15 USD at the time I went. Keep in mind all dances are GREAT mileage and two way contact. So $15 USD for a dance like that is an absolute bargain especially with the quality of women you’ll find there. I ended up spending the rest of my money for that night on only Cherry cos her dance was great. Touched her boobs, ass, everywhere is allowed except pussy and face (unless they allow it).
