A Suburban Club That Feels Like a Suburban Club and Not Just a Dive Bar
This may be my favorite club in the greater Philadelphia area. It's not an urban, slick club. It's a nice bar with two stages and a spiral staircase that descends onto one stage -- this is the entry point for the dancers, and I think it definitely adds something to the entrance, although it can also obstruct your view of the stage depending on your seat at the bar. The center area, where the stages are, almost seems a bit tight, which is good for the patrons as it is no strain to see the dancing.
The club atmosphere itself is relaxed. Several pool tables, a "private" dance area that isn't very private, where you can get $20 lap dances that have always exceeded my expectations (or at least set a new standard for me in terms of lap dances). Plenty of TVs and a few high-top tables pretty much rounds it out. The facility is well maintained – nothing slick and new, but solid and clean whenever I've been there. The music isn't killer -- you can still have a conversation with a friend.
The girls that are on stage are not necessarily top-tier on looks, but the relaxed environment seems to bring out some extremely friendly women, and the dancing is usually pretty good but the followup chat-time and private dances are where the club excels, at least during day shifts. The girls with whom I've spoken who work there seem to really like it, which always makes me feel a bit better about the establishment. Combined with a free small buffet lunch every day, it's really a great place to pop out to for some affordable drinks, no cover, and friendly, topless women.
