Old times
I had not been to ABC since mid 80's and decided to check it out again. As you enter, to the right is the nude section (closed until later in the evening) and to the left is the topless part. I don't remember what it looked like in the past, but I am guessing it looks exactly the same today. It is a bit outdated, but I guess that gives it "charm". The bar is at the far back of the place, I got a diet coke and asked the dance prices from the bartender, $5 for the chair, and $10 in vip with a $10 charge going to the house for a wrist band.
As far as I could see, there were five dancers, none that I would call stunning, one was thin and cute, but gave the worst dance ever. First time I stopped after only one $5 dance, did not wish to waste anything on the hopes of the second one improving. I then spotted another enjoying several beers with another patron and waited for her to get onstage to ask for a dance. With so few dancers, the stage went silent for many songs at a time. She finally had her round on stage and I tipped her while asking for her to dance after her set. She said she would be over in a moment, after she finished up her beer with the other guy.
She came over and starting dancing and it was worth the wait. After two, I suggested we go to vip and paid the bartender the $10 and off we went. The vip is not that private, the DJ booth is right next to it and has two openings that can look directly into the area. Plus, there were two other dancers entertaining their customers. We chose an open spot and the dances got infinitely better. A lot of mutual touching to the fun spots. We (or at least I) had a great time. I lasted five dances and had to use the facilities to dry off.
