I noted that several of the reviews on this club are from relative "club-newbies". I've been to quite a few clubs all over the U.S. so here's a little different perspective. I was in town and had some time to kill on a Sat afternoon. I had never tried any of the numerous clubs in the Broadway area of SF so I wanted to see how they stacked up. Garden of Eden wasn't open till 6pm; Centerfolds was way down the road; Larry Flints was open but I prefer all nude clubs. Roaring 20s was open and looked OK so in I went. The club is small. Just large enough for the single oblong stage with a pole at each end. There's seating around the stage then there's a bit of space then there's the seats along the walls. So I sat at a table along the wall; maybe 5 feet away from the stage. My guess is that there were maybe 8 dancers and maybe 10 guys in the club. Also a couple of ladies in the audience. Club did not have the usualy funky smell of these kind of clubs. Music was OK. Cover (I think) was $20 and included a plastic cup... serve yourself a softdrink. The dancers on stage 1st were doing 3-song sets; pretty much nude by 3rd song. After a while they dropped to 2 song sets. None were drop dead gorgeous, but all were pretty good. Most had a few extra pounds but nothing bad. I, for one, don't really care for skin-and-bones. After maybe 10min I was approached by Ivy. Cute girl, nice figure, just a few tasteful tats. We talked maybe 10-15 min. She made good conversation. Then the DJ announced a 2-fer and she invited me to try it out. I thought might as well. The private dance area is upstairs. Small cubicles with a curtain. I think I detected a bouncer making rounds to see who was in the rooms during the dance. Well, the $20 lap is fully clothed, 40 for topless and 60 for nude. Since it was 2-fer I went ahead with the 60. She got naked. Real nice body. Natural boobs and very nice looking shaved kitty. Her dance skills were OK, but not anything special by my standards. Contact was only one-way. She would rub her boobs in my face, but that was about it. As she said... anyplace you want to touch; that's where you cannot touch. So after going back downstairs and watching a couple of other dancers on stage they were back to the same girl who was on when I entered so I left. Compared to my more frequent visits to Florida clubs this was much less entertaining and more expensive.
