Lights on but no one home...

Had a little bit of extra time while in Ann Arbor so drove the 15 minutes to visit this club in Ypsilanti. Realizing it was a weekday and in the afternoon, I expected the crowd to be small and the number of dancers to also be minimal. But I also expected the opportunity to have nice conversation and then a pressure free dance with a cute and sociable young lady.

Went to Ypsilanti and parked on the main downtown street which offers free, non metered parking during the day. 2 hour stay maximum. Walked into the club, which no longer has the adult toy store but still has the admission counter in the former shop area. Friendly girl working the cash register and she asked me if I was interested in entering the club. Hearing no music in the background, and I say yes, but asked if anyone was in the club. She said that there were not any dancers that showed up yet today, but, that she was expecting one girl in about 2 hours. Two hours! Not sure how a strip club can attract a clientele if they don't have any dancers available. What was the point of even having the door open and paying the girl to work the cash register, if there were no dancers! Left extremely disappointed and made my way to Romulus...
