Tried hard to spot an attractive dancer but failed
Years ago, OG's used to be a go-to club for us, and I've had some great times there in the past, but it seemed to have gone down from what we had heard so we hadn't been back in a few years. Decided to check it out this past weekend on a Friday night around 11PM, figuring that timing gave us the best shot to see the club's A-team of dancers.
Well, if that was the A-team, I'd hate to see the day shift. While the club itself is nice enough and seems nicely renovated compared to our last visit, we sat at the stage and scanned the crowd of dancers and the girls on the poles and after 45-60 minutes of trying hard neither I nor my friend could identify any dancers attractive enough to even interest us in a lapper. Even after lowering our standards and trying to stay positive. It was sad. Everyone's tastes are different obviously, so for those patrons who prefer thick African American women or very heavily tattooed dancers, well there seem to be a lot here if that does it for you. There are also a fair number of older dancers (40+ would be my guess) along with girls on the ends of the weight spectrum - very chubby vs emaciated. My friend and I aren't snobs, and I've bought many dances from girls with nice smiles and great personalities who weren't beauties, but we just couldn't pull the trigger on this night. First time I think I've ever left a club without buying a single dance. Maybe we hit it at a bad time, maybe the hot dancers were tied up in VIP, or maybe it's just not our cup of tea, but I don't see us going back anytime soon.
The club itself was physically nice, and the staff were extremely friendly including the bouncer who escorted us in. The waitress was very nice (and was the hottest woman we saw there by far). Cover was quite high, even by Vegas standards. Drink prices high but fairly standard for Vegas.
