Interesting place

I finally decided to try Outer Space as I was driving through Philly on the way back from a meeting. The club is definitely in the hood. I went in the afternoon, so no issues. Parking on the street was easy and their seems to be club security outside keeping an eye on things. This place is basically a Philly row home with bars on the ground level and a long rectangular room on the second floor with a small bar and a long bench on one side.

There was a $10 entry free and frisking upon entering. I went around 2:30 in the afternoon and the place was basically empty. There was a bunch of dancers going in and out, total about 7-8. There wasn't much dancing on stage except for 2 dancers practicing for their evening gig at another club. Actually, it was pretty entertaining watching them practice their pole moves. Everyone was friendly and had my choice for dances. It seems that dances are now $10 each (signs posted all over the club).

Beers were relatively inexpensive ($4 for domestic) and the bartender was super friendly (even giving dances for another customer). Since it as so empty, there wasn't much excitement in the club, but the girls that were there were pretty good looking and gave enthusiastic dances (maybe because of the price increase). Since I was never there for the $5 dances, I didn't feel ripped off.

Overall, pretty good and I'll probably go again when I'm in the area.
