I don't think I'll ever really...

I don't think I'll ever really understand Desire completely. I've been here before more than a few times, and every time it's enjoyable. Management is also obviously always on top of their game. The parking lot is devoid of trouble, the club is super clean, and the management presence inside the club is perfect; you feel safe but not threatened, welcome but not watched. The club tinkers and toys with different layouts, trying to find the best blend of experience with revenue generation.

The shock to me is probably no shock to the readers - I just don't get what they tell the girls. Nowhere else in the area is there so little attention paid to new customers; you literally cannot get a dance with any of the many hot girls that work here without really causing an issue.

I'm not shy; I have no problem walking up to girls to chat them up, even though the girls here are way out of a typical visitor's (read: me) league. My only hypothesis is that Desire is a victim of their own success; these girls have enough steady, high-rolling customers that they don't need to develop new clientele. It's such a bizarre experience to go from other clubs in Providence that feature borderline harassing girls (Fantasies, Foxy, Caddy) to Desire.
