It pays to be a regular

For those that haven't been before, I'll quickly lay out the basics. One small stage, tip rail is far away from the dancer (when they actually put a dancer on stage) but the girls always come down to the rail on song two to collect tips. The girls are pretty friendly for a one or two dollar tip, so don't be stingy. There are chairs around the floor and one long bench for hanging out. Drink hustle is low but the girls will come around and ask for dances. At $10 a piece for lapdances, you'd be a fool not to spend some time with a coupe of girls. (contact is encouraged. no airdances here!) For VIP dances in the back Sunday through Thursday is your best deal with 2 for 1. That's $75 for TEN songs topless or $125 nude!! (Fri/Sat it's 5 songs)

So I used to show up and just get a bunch of dances on the floor. Sometimes higher mileage, other times not so much. Now that I've gotten to know a few of the girls, I've found that my time and money is better spent in the VIP. There are 8 (i think) little booths in the back, not all created equal. Four are easy for the bouncer to see, and the other ones are behind a little wall and are much more private. The lighting varies back there with some of the booths being almost too dark. All that separates these booths are little dividers, so there are no doors or curtains or anything like that. Don't expect total privacy. The best you can do is show up on a slow night and time it so that you're back there by yourselves. It's up to the dancer where she wants to go, but I've found that the more I go the more they bring me back to the more private booths.

This is one of those clubs where it pays to be a regular. I don't even go that often, but they know me at the Strip Joint now and I feel like I get better treatment. The bouncers are cool and they've given me so many $5 entry coupons I'll never be able to use them all. Everybody knows that I'm willing to spend a few bucks and that I don't cause trouble.
