Sunday afternoon getaway

What can be said that hasn't already been said about this place. Was still in town and had TJ on my mind. A quick detour down south and landed at Adelitas. The Sunday afternoon crowd was small as was the number of dancers either posted to their favorite spot or the very few walking around. Music was playing with one dancer on stage. I grab a beer at the bar costing $3.25, but giving $4 and heading off. I find a booth to sit just to the right of the VIP room. I scope out the dancers to see if I could find the one before heading back. Adelitas has a good variety of dancers from thin to thick, trophy looks to 3rd place looks. This afternoon was more on the 1st and 2nd place looks. After about two beers, scoping out the area and making the circle around the room, I see a little brunette and make my move. After some small talk, and settling on the price, we make our escape next door. Great gal in the room, small talk pays off especially if you know a little spanish, but also being slow on this afternoon, she was not in a rush to get back. All in all, try Sunday out, it may be a little slow, not many trophy looks, but you will get a little better service.
