First Time, Long Time

So I just got back into town after being away for more than 10 years because of my time in the military, and I decided to relax after 29 hours on the road by visiting a club I once enjoyed back in the day. I got there close to midnight and ended up there until closing time, and while there may have been 2-3 dancers that were worthy of my time and, more importantly my money, for the most part the waitresses were in better shape and condition than the entertainers. While I wouldn't quite say the majority of the dancers working last night were ugly or had "butter" faces, there was certainly a severe drop-off in quality from the top 2-3 dancers to the 4-8 dancers that remained, and because of this, the top 2-3 were constantly being "harassed"/covered/held-onto by a select few patrons who seemed to be more friend than customer, as it was rare that any lap dances were given between the dancers' time on stage and when they were back sitting with their "ol' buddy". If you are looking for a place to relax and catch a PPV or spend the day/night watching football on one of their screens, this is a pretty good place to go; you can see some attractive, mostly-naked women during commercials while enjoying your typically higher-priced beverages, so in that sense it is better than, say...a Buffalo Wild Wings...plus, unlike other clubs I have been to in the past (mainly outside SA), the dancers really don't pester you about lap dances or trying to make you buy them a drink two or three times every 20 minutes. They ask how you are doing and if you are looking for a dance, but it never reaches the uncomfortable level of "hounding and pouncing" that can happen at other places. With the exception of one particular entertainer, the best part of my night was hitting up the Whataburger after last call at the club on my way back to my hotel. Like I said, been away from SA for a while and haven't had Whataburger in forever. In the end, I would go back...so long as my hotel is within walking distance.
