Rachel's

I hadn't been out east for a few months so thought I'd give Rachel's another try and was hoping to see a few dancers I've known for a while. As I was entering (cover was $5) there were several bigger black gals going in carrying balloons (turned out they were celebrating a birthday and must have wanted to see some sisters dance for them). They sat at one of the side stages and a couple dancers gave them a pretty good show focusing on the birthday girl with her crown. I was approached by an AA dancer with a hot body who seemed like she might be fun but passed until I had a chance to see the selection of dancers. There were no white dancers this evening and don't know if that has become the norm or not (but I was 1 of only 2 Caucasian customers). I know the manager used to be at Sinbads which had a similar makeup and she has been adding more black dancers all the time and seems to have a hard time keeping the white gals. There were all shapes and sizes - from tiny waist, cute in the face girls who still had some junk in the trunk, to bigger gals but all of them could work the pole, but the club just had a lot different feel than what I remembered so I didn't stay long. I'll have to try day shift sometime to see how it compares.
